So happy to have Common's full presence back in the game. This song is beautiful, insightful and very motivational. Don't only enjoy, but enlighten yourself!
I had these dreams in my head of an endless fear
I could see it from my window
Wouldn't take that long to get me there
Keep running til' I can go
Remember the beautiful things that life could give me
Crazy how I'm the one
Could've been anywhere, but I'm sitting in the air
With the wheels up staring at the sun
Ohh, in the sky we'll find the light
Ohh, ain't too high we'll shine at night
Now we in the skies, blue skies
And we going higher, that's right

British soul singer, Amy Winehouse who passed away this year, at the tender age
of 27, will have a posthumous album released at the end of this year.
The record features unreleased tracks from her debut album Frank, along
with a few covers, like "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" which was featured on
the Diary of Bridgett Jones soundtrack, and the Mark Ronson revived "Valerie."
On Lioness, there are also duets with rapper Nas (aka "Mr. Jones") and crooner
Tony Bennett on the previously released, "Body and Soul."

I am a lover of Moleskine. For my 29th birthday, I bought myself the limited edition Marc Jacobs Moleskine to keep a journal of things that have happened this year. Now that my 30th birthday is approaching, I recently purchased a new Moleskine (in red of all colors--- I don't know who I'm turning into).
Anyway, the famed journal brand has a series of "Passion" journals dedicated to lovers music, wine, cooking and more. And earlier this year they added....wait for it.... a new Style Passions journal. I was so excited about this that I also ordered it for myself. As the Moleskine site states:
Leaving no detail to chance. Organize your style in the different sections of the Style Journal: wardrobe, wish list, gift list, favorite store addresses and other. Personalize the notches on the other six sections with the adhesive tabs found in the pocket (loans, online shopping, must-haves, sales purchases, best and worst deals, etc.). There is an extensive information section with international sizes, washing instructions symbols and all possible color variations; also, sketches and a cataloguing of textile fibers.

On November 19th, I was one of the many people who gathered at the Garden State Plaza Mall ( the only mall carrying the collection in New Jersey ). I arrived at 7:00 am hoping that I could get in early for the anticipated 8:00 am opening. Unfortunately, H&M pulled put the color code system. I was team pink which meant that I wasn't allowed to enter the store until 10:25 am.
However, I wasn't too rattled about the color system, as long as I get the scarf and bracelet that I wanted. Thankfully, with a little faith and a lot of luck I got the scarf and bracelet that I wanted.
When I checked out, I asked the cashier if he had a spare garment bag. He didn't, but gave me a shoe bag that is super soft, hefty, and has the Versace for H&M logo stitched in gold. It will be great to put items in when I travel.
Overall, my experience was a good one. I was patient and got what I wanted. Can't wait to wear these items and post pics for you all!!!
By SoftSheen Carson, this spray prides itself on being alcohol free and containing the oils needed to refresh natural hair. I tried this out on my hair one morning before work to see if it would help my waves look revived. Unfortunately, it did not. Usually I use water and a conditioning cream to give my hair some life, so when I bought this spray, I thought it would be a great and quick fix for my morning routine. However, it didn't live up to its name.
This is my second review, and I know that I cannot expect every product I use to work on my hair. However, just because it didn't work for me, doesn't mean that it won't be an amazing product for you.
Final Grade: eww la la
So I was very excited about trying out this set, especially after seeing Rashida Jones in the ads. However, this shampoo and conditioner set did absolutely nothing for my hair. Instead of my hair feeling moisturized and cared for, it felt dry and brittle. Most people don't know that I am growing out my permed hair, however I am taking it slow with cutting off my permed ends. So I've been trying different products to see what will work with my natural and permed hair.
I also passed this duo off to my mother to see if it would work with her hair, but she had the same results and complaints.
I must say however, that the smell of this product is great. I did get compliments on how good my hair smelled, but other than that, these products didn't agree with me at all.
Final review: eww la la.
